Do you have store directories so I know where products are located?

Store directories are available in every Cash Wise store. They list products by aisle number. They can be located at the front entrance. They are also usually attached to the end of each aisle. If you have trouble finding a store directory, please ask one of our friendly employees for help and they will be able to direct you to one. Large signs are also hung above every aisle to indicate which types of products are located there.

Why are you open on Thanksgiving and Easter?

Cash Wise remains open on Thanksgiving and Easter to meet the needs of its diverse customer base, including those who seek last-minute items for their holiday meals and celebrations, and have few other options. Cash Wise understands that customers’ schedules during the holidays are hectic so we are pleased to remain open on Thanksgiving and Easter to serve their shopping needs. At Cash Wise, we truly value our employees. To support our employees and their holiday schedules, Cash Wise seeks volunteers to work these holidays and pays non-salaried employees a premium rate for working on holidays.

What is your coupon policy at Cash Wise?

Cash Wise will gladly accept manufacturer coupons that have been clipped from newspapers or magazines as well as internet coupons that have been printed by the customer. This includes:

    Manufacturer Coupons
  • One (1) coupon per product purchased
  • Coupon must match the item purchased (brand, product, and size)
  • All coupons must have an expiration date
  • Coupons cannot be expired
  • Coupons must contain a redemption address
  • Coupons must scan at the register
  • Original coupons only; photocopies cannot be accepted
    Internet Coupons (Online Manufacturer Coupons)
  • Internet coupons are subject to the same requirements listed above
  • We do not accept internet coupons for FREE items
  • We do not accept home printed manufacturer coupons that offer $ OFF (i.e. $1.00, $2.00, $3.00 OFF) that exceed more than half the retail price of the product

Competitor Coupons
We do not accept competitors’ coupons nor manufacturer coupons from competitors’ ads.We gladly accept legitimate internet coupons. However, there are a growing number of fraudulent internet coupons in circulation. We are committed to protecting our customers, manufacturers, and our company against this illegal activity. Please understand if we cannot honor an internet coupon that has been presented. Management has the right to refuse any coupon or to limit quantities. Cash Wise reserves the right to withdraw the acceptance of internet coupons.

Number of Coupons Accepted Per Item
It is the policy of Cash Wise to accept one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per item. However, the value of the coupons cannot exceed the price of the item. If the value of the coupons exceeds the item price, only the amount up to the item price will be deducted.

Double Coupons
Cash Wise does not routinely double coupons.

I’m having trouble viewing the Cash Wise ad online. What should I do?

A setting on your computer may be preventing you from being able to view our ads online. To resolve this issue:

  • Clear the cache in your browser
  • Go to the Cash Wise web site (www.cashwise.com) and click Weekly Specials under 'Deals' in the main menu.
  • You can also go to the circular page by clicking the Weekly Ad tile on the homepage. If you haven't selected a store, you will automatically be directed to the 'Store Locator' page where you can select your store. You will then be redirected to your store circular page.

How can I change the day when my Cash Wise email is delivered?

To change the day when your Cash Wise email is delivered:

    Go to the Cash Wise web site (www.cashwise.com) and click the Sign In/Join button
  • Enter your Username and Password and Sign In
  • Now that you’re Signed In, go to the profile page
  • Select your store under the 'Choose a store' dropdown. Make sure the Receive Weekly Email checkbox is selected at the bottom of the page.
  • Your email will arrive on the day your store’s weekly ad is released.
  • Click Update to save your changes

How can I be removed from the weekly emails from Cash Wise?

To be removed from the weekly emails from Cash Wise:

  • Go to the Cash Wise web site (www.cashwise.com) and click the Sign In/Join button
  • Enter your Username and Password and Sign In
  • Now that you’re Signed In, go to the profile page
  • At the bottom of the page, uncheck the Receive Weekly Email checkbox
  • Click Update to save your changes

What is your donations criteria?

Coborn’s, Inc. is proud to support the communities where we do business. Each year, we donate more than $2.3 million and thousands of volunteers hours to the communities we serve as part of our commitment to community caring. Our donations criteria is:

  • The organization must be a non-profit organization, and be part of one of the communities we serve. If the request is for a specific event, the event must be within one of the communities we serve.
  • Coborn's, Inc. gives top priority to requests from organizations and activities serving children and families in need.
  • Coborn's, Inc. does not make contributions to or support fundraising for individuals (unless they are immediate family members of company employees).
  • Requests must be formally submitted, preferably using our Donation Request Form which is available at all Coborn's, Inc. locations, or online at www.coborns.com/coborns-cares. We will also accept formal requests on the requesting organization's official letterhead.
  • The Coborn's, Inc. Donations Committee meets regularly to review requests. Please submit your request at least three weeks in advance to ensure proper consideration.
  • Coborn's, Inc. reserves the right to determine which organizations or activities it chooses to fund.

How can I order gift cards?

Cash Wise Gift Cards can be ordered online at www.cashwise.com. To order them:

  • Go to www.cashwise.com/gift-cards
  • Select the gift card size and quantity
  • Click Add to Cart
  • In the far left column, click Checkout
  • On the next page, select GUEST – Account Setup to enter billing information and a shipping address
    • If you want the Gift Card(s) delivered to you, enter your shipping address
    • If you want the Gift Card(s) delivered to someone else, enter their shipping address
  • Click Continue to complete the payment process and confirm the order

Where can I use my Coborn’s and Cash Wise Gift Cards?

Coborn’s Gift Cards can be used at Coborn’s and Cash Wise Foods stores. Similarly, Cash Wise Foods Gift Cards can be used at Cash Wise Foods stores and Coborn’s stores.

Neither Coborn’s nor Cash Wise Foods Gift Cards can be used at CobornsDelivers.

How can I check my Gift Card balance?

Check your Gift Card balance by calling toll-free 1-866-650-6049. This information is also available on the back of your Gift Card. If you encounter any difficulties in checking your gift card balance, please send an email to contact.us@cobornsinc.com and one of our friendly employees will assist you.

What is Labels for Learning and how can I apply?

Labels for Learning is a receipt tape program available at Coborn’s and Cash Wise Foods stores. It rewards customers who purchase the company’s Exclusive Brands with points. These points are collected by participating schools and child care facilities and are then redeemed for cash to benefit the school or child care program. The program is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Customers purchase Food Club, Full Circle, Paws and Top Care products to receive Labels for Learning.
  2. Customers drop receipt points in their school’s or child care program’s designated collection box (generally located at the school or care location).
  3. Throughout the school year, schools and child care programs send their receipt points to Coborn’s, Inc. for redemption.

There are now more than 3,000 different Food Club, Full Circle, Paws and Top Care products available at all Coborn’s and Cash Wise Foods locations. And, the company is so confident in the quality of each of these brands that Coborn’s and Cash Wise Foods offer a 200 percent satisfaction guarantee on all purchases. Here’s a quick look at each of these Exclusive Brands, all of which qualify for Labels for Learning points:

*The Labels for Learning program is available to school organizations designed to work with youth and young adults, ages 4-18, with tax ID numbers, including but not limited to public and private schools, school group organizations such as sports teams, recreation teams, academic teams, and more.

Do you support Scrip?

Cash Wise offers a scrip program with a 2% discount for non-profit organizations, including churches and schools. To request a scrip order form, send an email to scrip.cards@cobornsinc.com.

All scrip orders should be completed weekly and sent to scrip.cards@cobornsinc.com by noon on Tuesdays. A minimum scrip order of $500 is required.

Scrip orders are filled on Tuesdays and either:

  • Sent to the store listed on the order for pick-up the following day at the Service Counter
  • Available to be picked up at the Coborn’s Support Center located at 1921 Coborn Blvd., St. Cloud MN 56301

Payment can either be left at the store at the time of pick-up or mailed to the Coborn’s Support Center, 1921 Coborn Blvd., St. Cloud MN 56301

How can I get on the Penny Pincher distribution list?

Our Penny Pincher mailing lists are generated by a National List Company. A "saturation mailing" is done where all households in certain zip codes or postal routes receive the mailings. We do deliver to most routes in each of our Coborn’s markets. Unfortunately, we are not able to add just one name to the list, we must add entire carrier routes or zip codes. If you are not receiving a Penny Pincher, there could be multiple reasons:

  • The Post Office classifies our Penny Pincher as an Advertisement. If you have signed up to receive "no junk mail" at your home, you will not receive our Penny Pincher. Please change your mailing preferences to receive it.
  • We do not mail the Penny Pincher to businesses. If your address is registered as a business, as some are, you will not receive the Penny Pincher.

If neither of the above reasons are the case, you may not be receiving it because your zip code is not part of the National List Company’s “saturation mailing.” In this case, please send an email, with your name and zip code, to contact.us@cobornsinc.com and one of our friendly employees will follow up with you. In the meantime, you are welcome to request one at the Service Counter at Cash Wise, beginning the first day of a Penny Pincher sale. We keep a small amount at each store for customers like you.

Why won't your store employee give out copies of the Penny Pinchers before the sale begins?

Our stores are instructed not to hand out copies of the Penny Pincher mailer until our postal window has been met. Otherwise, we would be giving out Penny Pinchers to the same people who will receive them in the mail. Because of the high quantity of Penny Pinchers being mailed, the post office has a three-day window in which to deliver all of them. We have found that, if we wait until the mailings are complete, then we only have a handful of customers not included in the list that will request a copy at the Service Counter. If you do not receive one by the first day of the promotion, you can request a copy at our Service Counter at that time.

I would like to have you remove me from your mailing list

Our mailing lists are generated by a National Mailing List Company, and we are unable to remove just one address. In order to stop the mailings, you would need to go to the Post Office or USPS.com and fill out the form that states you do not want to receive advertisements of any sort and that will remove the your name from that group of mailings (also known as “remove all junk mail”). This will eliminate you from receiving all junk mail, not just the Coborn's and Cash Wise mailers. Another option is to send a request to the following address, which is a company that works with saturation mailings, and ask that they remove your address:

This request will stop any junk mail from being sent to your home.

Please put me on the mailing list for your weekly ads!

We’re sorry but we don’t have a mailing list for our weekly ads. We insert our weekly ad in area newspapers for each of our markets. If you do not subscribe or purchase the newspaper, our ads are also delivered in various shopper publications. You can always view our ads online at www.cashwise.com/circular. In addition, you can sign up to receive an automatic weekly email that links to our weekly ad. Our ads and coupon sheets are also always available in our stores near the front entrance.

I'm a product representative and I'd like to talk to your buyers or category managers.

Cash Wise does not accept email solicitations. If you are a product representative, please call the Coborn’s Suport Center at 320-252-4222 and indicate to the receptionist the purpose for your call. The receptionist will then direct your call.
