Position Title: Neighborhood Service Representatives
Posting #: CD-PT-2011
Location: CobornsDelivers, New Hope, MN
Schedule: Saturday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Sunday 11:30 am – 6:00 pm &
1-2 weekdays: 2nd shift 11:30 am – 10:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Purpose:
The purpose of the NSR position is to provide ultimate flexibility in delivery operations by functioning as both an NSR and dock representative as CobornsDelivers’ business requires. You will function as an NSR during intermittent periods in order to provide efficient, timely, and accurate delivery of groceries to our customers’ homes, all while providing superior customer service. You will potentially work up to 50% of the time as a dock representative in order to provide as much flexibility as possible in staffing the delivery operations.
Physical Demands:
The position you are applying for is VERY physical. You must be able to lift and carry up to 90 pounds at a time. Throughout the day you will be constantly lifting and carrying this weight on and off your truck and up to customers’ homes. It is very possible you could lift as much as 20,000 pounds in a given workday. This is a requirement of the job. Unfortunately, we do not have any light duty NSR positions.
Reading a Map:
The NSR position relies heavily on the ability to read and understand maps. This position will have you driving in areas that may be unfamiliar to you. It is very important that you feel comfortable using a map to find your way to customers’ homes. Experience working with a Hudson or Kings road map is preferred.
Education and Age Requirements:
Although college experience and/or a college degree are preferred, the minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED. For insurance purposes, all candidates must be at least 20 years of age at the time an application is submitted.
Appearance Policy:
CobornsDelivers will provide a uniform to all team members. It is the responsibility of the team member to keep the uniform clean and in good repair. The uniform consists of a green CobornsDelivers shirt and khaki pants or shorts. Jackets and hats are also provided.
It is a requirement of CobornsDelivers that all team members be clean-shaven for work. No facial hair will be allowed (i.e. mustaches, beards etc). Sideburns are allowed as long as they are nicely trimmed and do not extend beyond the bottom of the ear. Hairstyles should not cover any part of the eyes. It should not extend below the upper half of the ear, nor below the top of the shirt collar in the back. Women’s hair that is longer than shoulder length is to be worn up, in a style such as a twist, knot, or ponytail.
CobornsDelivers respects individualism and expression. However, because the very nature of our business depends on customer relationships and safety, it is expected that jewelry and body decorations will be minimized. Facial jewelry, including earrings, is not permitted.
Driving Record:
The main function of this job is driving. For this reason, you are required to have a clean driving record. An Unacceptable Motor Vehicle Record for any applicant or current Team Member is one with any of the following occurring in the last three (3) years from the date of inquiry:

Essential Job Functions
• Picks ordered items in assigned zone from lighted bin locations and places items into totes on conveyor system in the Cooler area (34 degrees F).
• Position involves constant standing, bending, reaching, walking, and occasional lifting of approximately 40 lb cases or totes.
• Ability to visually identify unacceptable quality produce while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity (after training)
• Communication of any quality issues to Team Lead and Produce Team in a timely manner
• Pack fragile produce items properly to eliminate potential damage to produce
• Personally shops within the Superstore to fill the dry goods portion of a customer order by picking the products, and placing them in totes on a large push cart
